Australian Transit Enterprises

ATE represents one of the most successful consortiums of Australian operators currently engaged in the provision of urban passenger transport services.

The members of the consortium have been in business within their own family and corporate structures for many years. In fact some of the oldest transport companies within Australia are represented within the ATE consortium. The group has vast experience in the provision of quality bus services.

ATE represents a successful effort to focus the skills and experience of three of Australia 's leading transit operators, all with over 40 years experience, into a single operating entity.

TransAdelaide

TransAdelaide has undergone a number of transformations over the past 20 - 30 years that have seen it evolve into the organisation it is today.

The experience of TransAdelaide in operating urban transport services coincides with the history of Adelaide 's metropolitan public transport system.

TransAdelaide has, through itself and its predecessors the State Transport Authority (STA) and the Municipal Tramways Trust (MTT) delivered a fully integrated urban public transport system that has serviced the public of South Australia since 1970.

Today TransAdelaide operates train and tram services in metropolitan Adelaide . TransAdelaide has built up considerable expertise within the context of the Adelaide market whilst responding to the rigours of commercialisation.
